Consistent with our mission statement, Big K Ranch, a family business, seeks to be on the new horizons of genetic development. Through the practices of an extensive Artificial Insemination (AI) and Embryo Transfer (ET) program Big K Ranch is producing top notch Angus cattle. While our primary focus is situated on performance pedigrees, we do not and will not make single trait selections. While focusing on performance data, carcass merit, and elite cow families we strive to select cattle with excellent phenotype. The rolling plains of West Texas demand moderate framed cattle, with flawless structural design.

Through our aggressive breeding program with the selection of high performing, moderate framed, excellent phenotype cattle, and an extra emphasis applied to selection of structurally and reproductively sound cattle, we along with our past customers are sure that these genetics will work in any scenario anywhere in the country. The past 10 years have been devoted to producing a product that seed stock and commercial producers alike will find to increase their bottom line.
